Abstract

An analysis of the work that a comic artists have to do into the adaptation of literary texts (stories, novels, fables, etc.) to comic language evidence that is not a simple exercise of interpretation or representation. The comprehension of both semiotic systems, a textual verbal and other visual narrative, propose a translation metaphor between languages and put to comic artist as a translator. Which infers a study proposal about the language and what are the aspects that involve the intersemiotic translation on the adaptations.
