Abstract
In this article we are going to offer a number of guidelines on the implementation of a Computer Assisted Tool (CAT) in research within the field of Translation Studies. With this aim in mind, we have delimited the study to a textual sample composed of specialized source texts and their translations. The approach is a descriptive, communicative and pragmatic one. The chosen CAT Tool to exemplify its usefulness is Trados WinAlign, a text alignment tool, integrated in the set of Trados tools. We will show how to prepare the sample, how to segment it and once it is ready, the purpose would be to carry out an analysis of the interlinguistic process of some specific units.Downloads
