Integration of the specialty of flamenco in the superior degree of music
Abstract
A learning experience developed in a Conservatory of Music that integrates both students of classical and flamenco tradition by means of the flamenco orchestral practice is presented. The teaching sequence and a research about the self-perception of students on their learning are exemplified. 47 students completed a self-report. The results indicate that students of both traditions favorably value the aspects that are novel to them. The results of both the experience and the research are discussed in relation to the bases of collaborative and meaningful learning.Downloads
