Analysis of content diffusion strategies and social networking activity in popular science magazines: factors of interaction, visibility and impact
Abstract
The digital age has led to a redefinition of the activity of the journals of contemporary science. In order to capture interested in the scientific, public and achieve greater impact, and thus compensate for the loss of hearing their printed versions, the presence of these social networks has become common. This article investigates the factors that have determined the increased diffusion, visibility and impact of work about different popular science magazines in Spain as a result of the analysis of their presence and activity on social networks Facebook and Twitter.
