The articles and video essays that form this volume rigorously interrogate who the subjects of rage are and how they are discursively constructed, while also scrutinizing its impact on feminism. They inquire into why some expressions of rage gain political traction while others are rejected, and they undertake a critical analysis of the strategies employed to disembody rage and overcome its pathologization. They also ask how to challenge the heteropatriarchal norms of neoliberalism. The richness of the diversity of formats allows for a thorough investigation of the narratives of rage, thereby shedding light on its transformative potential and the complexities surrounding its expression within the context of activism.

The thematic issue 'Digital social research', co-edited by Elisa García Mingo and Igor Sádaba (Complutense University of Madrid) reflects on the emergence of concepts, methods and techniques necessary for the study of digital societies and the normative, political and ethical issues linked to digital social research.

This thematic issue, with the title 'Democratic deliberation on the Net: From digital dialogue to digital noise', focused on the tension between noise and deliberation in the digital public sphere. The issue includes both research that addresses progressive experiences and potentially democratizing uses of digital technologies, as well as research that illustrates their risks and the threats they can pose to the quality of public debate and democracy itself.

This issue sparks discussion around digital education in the context of the current global health crisis. It addesses the impact of digital technologies and digital society in the field of education, from the perspectives of both sociology of education and sociology of science and technology.
