Abstract

Rodrigo Stumpf González is a doctor in Political Science and Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. He specializes in Political Culture and Comparative Latin American Politics with a special interest in the study of the fragility of Brazilian democracy. In this interview we talk about the 2022 elections in Brazil and he reflects on the different possible scenarios for the election results and on the impact these might have on the new cycle of politics in Latin American.

Rodrigo Stumpf González es doctor en Ciencia Política por la Universidad Federal de Rio Grande do Sul (Brasil), profesor del Programa de Posgrado en Ciencia Política de la Universidad Federal de Rio Grande do Sul (Brasil) y miembro del Núcleo de Investigación en América Latina – NUPESAL/UFRGS. Trabaja con temas de cultura política y política comparada. Entre sus publicaciones más recientes se encuentra: “Cultura política, mudanças econômicas e democracia inercial.
