The metaphors of love in the poetry of Nizar Qabbānī and its translation into Spanish: pragma-cognitive analysis
Abstract
The present paper is a study of the cognitive and conceptual images that underlie the conceptualization and, hence, the expression of love in Arabic and its influence in the process of translation of metaphors of love into Spanish. The object of analysis is a corpus of poetry by the Arab poet Nizar Qabbānī.
