Local newspapers against the Internet and the transversal communication, information and entertainment corporations. The case of "La Crónica del Quindío" (Colombia)
Abstract
The free access to online information and the change in consumer preferences make us reconsider the future of the local press against the Internet and the large cross-media communication, information and entertainment corporations. The objective of this article, the research product of a Master's Degree in Administration, is to examine the bases of the value proposal of the newspaper La Crónica del Quindío, the most representative written communication medium of the department of Quindío-Colombia. The methodology used corresponds to a descriptive study, through a hypotheticodeductive process.
