Cidus, from digital integration to consilience
Abstract
In 2009 the University of Santiago de Compostela starts the Platform for the Innovation and Experimentation and Innovation in Digital Contents (CIDUS): a pioneering experience of trans-disciplinary collaboration between 81 investigators of reference in the digital contents area, with a technological and socio-communicative profile, from fields as different as Physics, Computer Science, Journalism, Audiovisual Communication and Advertising. CIDUS works actively with the institutional and business material, developing more than 20 projects of research, development and innovation up to now applicable to multiple socioeconomic sectors, and producing business initiatives from the University. Likewise, the Platform develops formative actions that satisfy the curricular demands of the academic area as well as training demands of the digital sector companies.Downloads
