In Solidarity with Palestine
Abstract
Millions of citizens around the world have raised their voices in support of the Palestinian people. These mobilizations are important as displays of solidarity, and also as pressure measures against the governments that most support the genocide, which are also the ones that most violently repress them in their territory. Furthermore, they are important as an expression of a rebellious subjectivity that recovers the value of dignity when confronting injustice. It has taken six months for the university community in the US and Europe to massively join these mobilizations, but they have finally done so with force. From Teknokultura we want to express our solidarity with the Palestinian people and our commitment to international justice. For us, the academy has to sustain the effort of critical analysis that allows us to better understand these situations and position ourselves in front of them.
