Abstract
The current "New Age" is part of a new way of seeing the world and feel in many cases opposed to the established structures. This text addresses the specific case of a particular New Age movement that combines technology, music and entheogens: trance movement in Andalusia. Through the ritual of the rave and their elements, members share a collective experience that relates to altered states of consciousness, which is obtained through the intermediation of technological devices. Such expressions are part of what has been called techno-shamanism, metaphorically alluding to the experience obtained in shamanic rituals.Downloads
