Abstract

In this interview Carolina Bescansa (1973) gives us a glimpse of her intellectual and political biography, which has witnessed two cycles of mobilization, and has analyzed them both as a student and a Political Science Lecturer (UCM). By retracting the origins of Podemos’ founding group, she provides essential elements for a critical analysis of our recent historical dynamic as well as the pursuit of an ambitious transformational project of great political importance based on social capital.

Carolina Bescansa Hernández, Universidad Complutense de Madrid

Especialista en Metodología de la Investigación en Ciencias Sociales. Profesora de la Universidad Complutense. Responsable de la Secretaría de Análisis Político y Social de Podemos. Soy especialista en metodología de la investigación y profesora de sociología y ciencias políticas en la Universidad Complutense, donde me doctoré hace diez años. Cursé estudios en las universidades de Granada, Lisboa, Complutense y en UCSD, University of California, San Diego. En Enero de 2014 participé en la fundación de Podemos. En la I Asamblea Ciudadana, tuve el honor de ser la segunda persona más respaladada del Consejo Ciudadano Estatal. Posteriormente me incorporé al Consejo Ciudadano, asumiendo la responsabilidad de la Secretaría de Análisis Político y Social
