Abstract

This text analyses the trade and currency transactions of the last successful production of Blizzard, Diablo III and. Drawing upo the analysis of this videogame we challenge the divide between "real world" and "virtual world" (as unreal space) in order to dissect and demystify the notion of magic circle, a key concept in the field of game studies.
