Abstract

Abstract. During 2020, the year in which the pandemic caused by COVID-19 spread in Latin America, face-to-face teaching had an abrupt migration to non-face-to-face environments supported by technologies, and in some cases by videoconference sessions. This forced teachers to discover and display their digital skills. This article presents the reliability analysis of an instrument called the Digital Competences Questionnaire in Non-Presential Environments (CD-NP), whose objective was to measure, from the perspective of the students, the skills shown by the teachers to implement their chair from a virtual space. 392 students from a private university participated. To carry out the study, Cronbach's alpha coefficient and exploratory factor analysis were used, the result indicates that the questionnaire has a very acceptable reliability. It is concluded that the instrument has the necessary properties to be applied to Mexican students, and opens the door to be implemented in other Latin American contexts.
