Higher artistic education and the European Higher Education Area in Spain. A critical appraisal
Abstract
The Royal Decree Act 1614/2009 of 26 October, which ordained the higher artistic education regulated by the Organic Act 2/2006, of 3 May 2006, on Education, established that their degrees should converge on the European Higher Education Area. After four years of implementation of the new curriculum and after the graduation of the first students under the Bologna Accords, we explore to what extent this process of convergence has taken place according to parameters used in other higher education institutions such as universities, considering the applicable law and the measures that have been adopted both at ministerial level and in the autonomous regions. Finally, we offer a proposal that allows this integration to become a turning point in the promotion and enhancement of a field of education fundamental in the development of our cultural system.Downloads
