Abstract

This work is an analysis of children’s advertising. We have analyzed the commercials of television in Christmas 2008/09. This work is a socio-semiotics analysis of commercials to analyze the representations of the child, to identify the characteristics of the narrative structures and to gather the promises or benefits offered to the child in every advertisement.
