Advertorial’s tipology in the printed press of Alicante: study of Diario Información and newspaper La Verdad
Abstract
This article offers a classification of the different infocomercials that appear in the traditional local press. The categorization is built from the study of the two most important local newspapers in Alicante: Diario Información and La Verdad. Our classifcation is based on the infocomercials collected from 1.092 journals, equally distributed during 2007, 2008 and 2009. In addition, the organization chart is done through two basic parameters: the frequency of publication and, simultaneously, the goal of communicative activity employed. Due to the current proliferation of this kind of infocomercials in the press, the main goal is to provide a classification model to analyze this kind of special advertising features in future research.Downloads
