La crisis del modelo económico de la industria de los periódicos
Abstract
The intense use of Internet as an information provider together with a fall of advertising incomes as a result of the current economic recession is creating a difficult situation within the newspaper industry. Different scholars suggest a rethinking of the present economic model and to search new financing sources. They propose that the press industry should go through a similar transformation as the one undertaken by the music industry. The American newspaper industry is on the other hand reopening the debate as to whether online news content should be paid.Downloads
