El hecho religioso y su tratamiento periodístico: limitaciones y dificultades

Abstract

The information about the religious world has some characteristics which distinguish it of other specializated areas. For this reason, the journalistic story has some limits because of the notion of “event”, the publication of the opinions, the treatment and journalistic formats. Finally, the vision about the work of specialized journalists has some influence over the final result as we can see in the evolution of this content in the Spanish Press. This article analyzes the limits of the journalistic format in the narration about the religious reality.
