A Protocol for Analysis of the evaluation of the search experience in digital news media
Abstract
The Digital News Media eXperience Analysis Protocol (PAXBCM) aims to provide a detailed procedure and with highly refined operating conditions for the analysis of Search eXperience Optimization, or SXO in digital news media. This system of analysis is based on the identification and operationalization of the indicators which were obtained thanks to a systematic review and a comparative analysis. After the initial version of indicators, their application to a set of websites and their subsequent refinement, the indicators presented here were obtained. The PAXBCM can act as a complete protocol because it is composed of a conceptual part; it formally establishes its foundations; it includes a procedural part; and it presents its indicators for data collection through a system of systematic records that ensures their full operability.
