Abstract
This article aims to approach Catalonian film magazines under Franco’s regime, and film criticism and reflection within this regime. The aim is to analyse several representative magazines according to their content, target audience and the criticism models they endorse. With regard to the slant of their contents and audiences, two main types of film magazines may be established: the majority hybrid press and the specialised press.
