The New Owners of the World: the Globalitazion of Mass Media
Abstract
This paper starts with a conceptual framework that defines unequivocally terms such as global Information Society and global Civil Society. These introductory terms lead us to the conclusion we sustain, and that we argument, that they are shaping mass media as the new owners of the world in the present century, obviously linked as they are to financial power through six big global multimedia corporations with monopoly features.Downloads
