TwentyFive Years of the Communication Group La Región (1985-2010)

Abstract
This article is aimed at explaining the means of Communications of the Grupo La Región from the year 1985 to 2010. The first issue of La Región, which is the origin and matrix of the group, came out on 15th February 1910. Years later, in 1966 La Región Internacional was founded. In the last twentyfive years, Altlántico Diario, Telecíes, Telemiño and Santiago T.V. were added to this group. On the one hand, the choice of this period is to exhibit the changes which were brought about from 1985 to 2010 and to provide continuity to the Thesis of Edelmiro Valladares; and on the other hand, to try and explain the permanence and implication of La Región newspaper in Orense as well as other localities.Downloads
