Social perception of the main Spanish popular-science communicators
Abstract
This article examines the public perception of six major Spanish popularisers of science. To carry out this study, we have conducted a survey of professionals working in the area of science dissemination. Through different sets of questions, we sought their views on the outreach activities of Eduard Punset, Juan Luis Arsuaga, Manuel Toharia, Jorge Wagensberg, Ramon Folch and Javier Sampedro. Our study also considered whether respondents’ opinions differed significantly when their assessments corresponded to the scientific or journalistic community.Downloads
