Online Media and Agenda-Setting: the Configuration of the International Media Agenda
Abstract
The aim of this study is to describe the thematic agenda of a number of international online media. To do this, we rely on the approaches developed in the theory of agenda-setting across multiple investigations. Thus, through a quantitative content analysis, we intend to see what issues are most relevant in the breaking news of the media analyzed according to certain aspects such as: authorship, geographic location, sources of information or the development on the front page.
