Relationship between certain family dynamics and child sexual abuse: qualitative analysis in an intervention context
Abstract
INTRODUCTION: This study aims to make known the relationship between certain family dynamics and child sexual abuse, with the purpose of raising awareness and providing prevention, detection and intervention guidelines for professionals who work in childhood and adolescent contexts and for the society in general. METHOD: This research is qualitative phenomenological. The instruments used have been interviews and analysis of reports from families who have been victims of one or more cases of child or adolescent sexual abuse. All speeches were analyzed with the Atlas Ti 23 qualitative data software. RESULTS: A relationship is established between certain non-protective family dynamics and child sexual abuse. DISCUSSION/CONCLUSION: This research aims to be an investigative proposal to provide certain guidelines that allow promoting healthy and violence-free contexts, whether within the family, or outside it, and as a prelude to future research that provides a methodological instrument that allows detect these risk situations in time.
