Stress and resilience in families of children with specific learning disabilities
Abstract
The article aims at stress and resilience experienced by families of children with special educational needs (SEN) specially on families of children with specific learning disabilities (SLD). Different factors influencing the level of stress experienced by families of children with SEN are described and the importance of paying more attention to resilience is highlighted. As the specific learning disabilities bare included in the slight deviations with serious psychosocial effects, the main attention is given to families of children with specific learning disabilities.
