Abstract

Informational and Digital Media Literacy (AMID) is a leading field to overcome the barriers that different populations of the world present before the use and access to information through the media; UNESCO (2011; 2014) as a world organization, highlights the need to promote the development of informational competences in the different settings and contexts of each nation, as does (Ferret et al. 2018; Pérez, Marín et al. 2019). This document exposes the research trends that have developed on the subject in recent years from the educational context. A documentary review is carried out in different specialized databases, applying an open, axial and selective coding (Strauss and Corbin, 2002), in addition it is supported by the relevance and opacity method (Pintos, 2003). The information processing was carried out using the software Atlas ti Version 8. Conclusions, studies of an analytical, descriptive order, with technical and practical interest from their methodological trajectories, are highlighted. To respond to technological advances and their incorporation into current education, it is essential to conduct research of order with critical social purposes.
