Abstract

The present article arises from the creative activities that in the last years we have been developing with people with Down syndrome and university students. We present a field study supported by a theoretical foundation, which has made it possible to create a space for people with different capacities to work with the same possibilities. The object of study is in the processes arising in the development of the “workshop of integrated creation with people with Down syndrome” of the University of Murcia. It has fostered mutual enrichment and learning of diverse relationships through creative tools. Likewise, we want to show the meetings that served as a source for the consolidation of this workshop.

The theoretical support of this experience has led us to reflect on the subject and its construction through intersubjectivity, as well as in the search of own methodologies that favor spaces for integration through creativity. We introduce key strategies such as: creation, dialogue, interaction, play, experimentation and setting adequate, which have allowed us to reformulate the concept of integrated creativity. Finally we show some essential conclusions.
