Analysis of the discourse on a happyness story in five words
Abstract
The present exploratory work consists of analyzing the discourse of a task based on writing a happy story in five words. The objective is to know the concepts related to happiness and the grammatical structure when expressing the story by the subjects so that it can be applied to the design of the persuasive message. Specifically, it is a question of seeing the differences by gender in the number of verbs, nouns, themes and words most commonly used in the story.
This is achieved through the storytelling strategy, a computer graphic is published on a social network inviting participation in the elaboration of a happy phrase in five words. In the convenience sampling, 300 subjects participate (47.3% men and 52.3% women). The results show the differentiated use of verbs and nouns between men and women; as well as the themes to which the stories allude such as: love, life philosophy and future challenges. The most commonly used keywords are: happiness, love and life.
