Meaning and value of the objects
Abstract
Advertising and exhibitions have something in common; both are persuasive discourses seeking toput in value certain objects in the eyes of a determined audience. The method by which such a valueis justified is very different in both cases; nevertheless, the communication strategies to achieve thisare often the same. This lecture aims to reflect on some of them, bringing in particular attention therole of the daily objects, as well as the usage of metaphor as a communication strategy.Downloads
