Abstract
The management of the official communication by the Spanish government after attacks in Madrid, on the March, 11, 2004, was ineffective and it finished at the loss of credibility of the executive. Three days later, 14 of March, the Popular Party lost the general elections. Nevertheless, the ex- president Aznar did not assume the communicative error. Contrary, he affirmed: “Without these attacks, my party would have won the elections”. The analysis of these facts allows to propose a correct institutional communication.Downloads
