Abstract
Joaquín Ruiz-Giménez y Cortés is one of the most important Spanish politician of the last 20th century. Ambassador in the Vatican and Education Minister with Franco, evolves towards a political and social compromise with the human rights defense and the building of a democratic parliament in Spain. The key points of this effort, always placed among a christian democratic ideology, are mainly the foundation of the prestigious critical magazine Cuadernos para el Diálogo and the leading of the Izquierda Democráticapolitical party, inside of the democratic opposition groups to franquismo.Downloads
