La credibilidad del periodismo al servicio de una nueva colonización: el mundo realginario
Abstract
Both the referential function and factuality, typical of the journalistic discourse, are increasingly employed by miscellaneous shows or by non-journalistic genres, such as advertising. This is not only a combination of information and entertainment but also, it is hypothesized, a colonization that the spectacle imposes upon a great deal of the journalistic field, aiming at a global conquest of it. In order to carry this task out successfully, the spectacle must use formats frequently found in the informative genre. The credibility the journalistic discourse has in the public is the loot and capital accumulation, its ultimate objective.Downloads
