Communication management in SME. Strategic potential, philosophy and trends
Abstract
Corporate Communication is a management tool that helps organisations to attain their goals. The studies of their characteristics, applications and needs in the Spanish business reality have prioritised to larger companies. However, SMEs represent the majority of the Spanish business landscape. The present work is developed from the SME perspective in a concrete geographic area, Galicia, away from the business, politician and communicative cores. Results show an emergent landscape where an established and stable communication function with enough resources is low developed. Communication differences between medium and small organizations have been analysed.
