Abstract
This research aims to discover, through critical discourse analysis (CDA), the processes and forms of representation of social actors linked to the Chilean student movement in 2011, through the analysis of regional coverage of “El Diario Austral Región de Los Rios” and the electronic journal “El Naveghable” during June, October and December 2011. The work of this research is aimed at describing how local media in the city of Valdivia constructed reality, dialogue, review, social actors, prejudices and stereotypes in covering the regional student movement.Downloads
