Sources and Social Networks in the News of Marta del Castillo
Abstract
The present paper analyses the use that news media made of social networks as sources in the case of “Marta del Castillo” and the communication parallel developed by them. This paper analyses information and image social networks had in the reports and discourse of the media. Although the journalist used social networks as primary sources of information for their reports, they present these networks as being dangerous and playing a key role in the disappearance of the young woman.Downloads
