Online Reputation of Spanish Political Leaders During the Change of Term
Abstract
This research analyze how three of the most important political leaders in Spain (Mariano Rajoy, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba) are referenced in blogs, social networks and online media. Our purpose is to know what image projected by the media about the three leaders in the context of changing legislature passed December 13, 2011. We collect the opinions, reviews and social impacts that triggered various topical issues during the eight months selected. To perform this analysis we used a methodological tool known as Nostracker, created by three researchers at the University of Santiago de Compostela, able to manage and track the conversation topics media, objects, personalities and brands in new social media.Downloads
