Abstract

The new curricula in the university introduce a particular combination of theoretical and practical classes which are a great challenge for the correct teaching of theoretical knowledge. This paper shows some strategies in order to approach this challenge from the point of view of the formal and theoretical subjects, encouraging the development of skills and abilities established by the European Higher Education Area. The practical strategies for teachers presented in this paper are focused to provide learning formulas for the students to acquire the abstract and theoretical knowledge that will be later the base of an experiential knowledge. We think that the pragmatic orientation in the curricula of the university studies must support the essential theoretical learning too. In order to facilitate this objective we offer some innovative responses.
