Educational and technological implementation of the Electronic European Language Portfolio (eELP): Towards the Web 3.0
Abstract
Language teaching and learning are based since more than a decade on the CEFR. The Council of Europe designed an instrument for didactic use: the European Language Portfolio (ELP), a personal document to reflect the process and outcome of learning languages and cultures. Since 2009, the Electronic European Language Portfolio (eELP) has been introduced. However, its generalization in language learning has not been achieved, perhaps because there has not been a didactic and technological implementation. It is therefore necessary to analyze the eELP to improve its didactic application and to take advantage of the possibilities offered by the ICTs, in general, and by the Web 3.0, particularly, to energize this official project.Downloads
