Intervención sobre los niveles de burnout y resiliencia en docentes de educación secundaria a través de un programa de conciencia plena (mindfulness)
Abstract
This study analyzes the effects of a mindfulness training and development meditation program on burnout and resilience in a group of secondary school teachers. An experimental group which was given a mindfulness course and a control group which was not, participated in the study. Variables were measured in both groups with the same three tests (pretest/posttest and follow-up). The statistical analysis done when the intervention program was over showed statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the variables studied. Burnout was reduced significantly more in the experimental group than in the control group, and there was a significant increase in resilience scores. These differences were maintained four months after the end of the intervention.Downloads
