De la educación para el trabajo a la formación para el empleo en el tercer sector
Abstract
The last scientific and technological revolution has led us to the Era of Globalization. This is characterized by the increase in inequality all over the world, by the uniformity of culture and thought and by the appearance of different crises; among which there is that of employment and another more general one: a human crisis. The situation has evolved in such a way that, while the multinational companies expand, the states are becoming smaller. This phenomenon has been transforming, little by little, the Welfare State, turning it into a business. This is the way the Third Sector and Social Economy have emerged, where the social functions that the State has abandoned are now trying to be assumed by them. In this context, the Third Sector (NGO and NLO, etc.) are trying to find an answer to the increase neglected and rejected people, and have equipped themselves whit a very peculiar but characteristic person, «the volunteer». In order to be a volunteer, in the majority of occasions, no qualifications are needed. We live in a society where the unemployment figures are alarming: the labour market is decreasing, as there is a large amount of work carried out in an altruistic, but also not very professional way. The technical formation in this sector seems to be received only by directors and administrators. Therefore, we think that this is producing a situation where well educated people in the ork force and in citizen solidarity are being taken advantage of. However, these people nd large, lack echnical nd professional preparation. That is why we would venture o say that in the Third Sector one should pass over ork education for employment raining. Moreover, we believe that saying this is to vindicate, indirectly if you like, the creation of employment from this sector as the best way of social inclusion and cohesion.Downloads
