Abstract

This present article illustrates the process of validation and reliability of a survey in order to design and develop it. The objective of this survey is get to know the opinions from different teachers about the opportunity to improve the informational and media literacy (IML) in the Master’s Degree in Teaching Training, from the University of Cadiz. Taking into account documentary research about this issue (Ferrés, 2006; Margalef, 2010; Wilson, Grizzle, Tuazon, Akyempong & Cheung, 2011; Aguaded et al. 2011; Area, 2012; Ferrés & Piscitelli, 2012; Pérez Tornero, 2015; Fedorov & Levitskaya, 2015; Fedorov, Levitskaya & Camarero, 2016) an appropriate resource was widely depeloped and suited to the application context. This resource is our own creation and it was certified by a group of experts. The contribution of this group of experts was structured, analysed and integrated in the final version of the survey, to be scientifically proven. This assessment, that includes a student´s survey too, completes an extensive research, providing qualitative information obtained by individual and focus group interviews.
