One hundred years of teaching philosophy at the Instituto Cardenal Cisneros Madrid (1837-1936)
Abstract
This article is the result of thorough research on the teaching of philosophy at the Instituto Cardenal Cisneros Madrid, from 1837 to 1936, which attempts to pay tribute to the wonderful professors and the institution itself, which served as a model for other schools of secondary education in Spain. Through these pages we discover, in short, the prestige enjoyed by the second lesson in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
