Abstract
This article analyzes the difficulties that can be found in Lewis Caroll’s ‘Jabberwocky’, and in particular its so-called ‘hard words’. It identifies a series of textual parameters that are then used to assess and compare a dozen of Spanish translations of the poem published in Spain and the Americas in the course of the last seventy years – since the first version dating from 1944 to some of the more recent ones.Downloads
