Abstract
As the printed press experiences income shortages due to dropping subscriptions as well as a cut in the amount of advertising revenues, it has likewise not been able to find some kind of compensation through increased incomes from its digital version. This explains why the press industry is searching a new economic model that could guarantee both its survival and the distribution of its contents in new platforms (mobile telephones, hardware devices for e-books and tablets) in order to increase its audience and improve its economic performance.Downloads
