The Future of Journalism in the Online Public Sphere: When Journalistic Sources Become Mass Media in their Own Right
Abstract
Citizens, expertise as well as the great media companies, can play a direct role in developing Journalism 2.0. The online public sphere is going to radically alter the concept of communications media, for a source can now become a communications medium in its own right. This article tries to explain how journalism is changing in the new digital era as well as what will happen with its traditional role in present cyber-society.Downloads
