Abstract
There are at present a great many free media aimed at the immigrant population. This is a group that requires its own press, one capable of reaffirming the identity of its members but without forgetting where they are living. Both communication groups and private initiatives have joined in the effort to conquer this market. Publishers and publicists see such media as a perfect vehicle for launching products. The article reveals the reality of these media, which are aimed at the collective of immigrants and have come to fill a news vacuum, considering aspects such as their contents and advertising.Downloads
