Sobre el futuro del periodismo

Abstract

Since the journalism managed to enter the University thanks to the Licentiate Sciences of the Information Degree, at the end of the seventies, there had not been taken place a more important and decisive moment in the history of our young profession. The journalist’s definition that is included in the Professional Statute of the Journalism and debated in the Congress of the Deputies, can suppose a starting break-even point for the journalism in our country. If prospers the attitude that all the Spanish we can be journalists, it will eliminate this magazine, this Degree and this University. If, on the contrary, we called journalist just to the bachelor’s degree in sciences of the information, we will have achieved the definitive jump to guarantee the prestige and the solidity of our journalist condition.
