Abstract

In the 17th century, were print many sheets of paper and pamphlets. The newsletters (battles, success, travels, entertainments, obsequies...) are marketable for a little money. The memorials are delivered to the King or the Queen. The people reads many papers print and after to throw away. In the second half of the 19th two twin brothers (the Marquis Jerez of the Caballeros and the Duke of T’Serclaes) had buy many old books and sheets of paper to the private libraries in Sevilla. In 1902, the Marquis had sale our library to the Hispanic Society of America in New York. In 1934, the library of the Duke was deposited in the National Library; but since 1939 the inheritors are sold little of little. Juan Perez de Guzman and Boza had tree collections: eleven binding sheets of paper with the name “Six Newsletters”; seven loosening newsletters to the 17th century and eight print works with the name “Various Papers”. All these publications are much interesting to the history of the Spanish Journalism.
